Kiwetinohk is pursuing three pillars of renewable and low-carbon, natural gas-fired power generation to deliver clean, reliable, dispatchable, low-cost power to Albertans.
Our 1,800 MW development portfolio includes three solar projects, two Firm Renewable projects and two natural gas-fired combined cycle (NGCC) power plants.
Our near-term focus is development of the 400 MW Solar 1 (Homestead) project and the 101 MW Firm Renewable 1 (Opal) project.
