Fareen Sunderji brings a breadth of experience across the Power and Natural Gas business in both Canada and primarily in NE United States. Prior to joining KEC, she was with a major energy infrastructure company where she held progressive leadership roles in engineering, operations, supply chain, projects and commercial. She has also completed asset integration and divestitures of gas-fired, solar, wind and hydro including a successful transaction for 3 gas-fired generators for $2.8 Billion prior to post-closing adjustments. Fareen holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Yale University. The combination of technical and commercial capabilities is integral to the Power Division that has 2 GW of development opportunities across Solar, Firm Renewables and Combined Cycle assets that will enhance and support Alberta’s grid reliability through new affordable and clean power supply.
